a global webcast presented by the MIT Enterprise Forum in collaboration with the students of the MIT Clean Energy Prize and NSTAR

The students of the MIT Clean Energy Prize, in collaboration with the MIT Enterprise Forum and NSTAR, seek to address the technological and economic challenges facing the future of clean energy.

Webast Program Agenda:
4:45 - 6:00 pm Eastern - Fireside Chat
In this fireside chat, Bill Joy, cofounder of Sun Microsystems and partner at Kleiner, Perkins, Caufield, and Byers; and Jason Pontin, chairman of the MIT Enterprise Forum and editor-in-cheif and publisher of Technology Review, will discuss the challenges of building sustainable economic models for clean energy. The conversation will examine the potential of new technologies as well as describe career opportunities in clean energy to put a greener future on the horizon. 

6:00 - 6:30 pm Eastern - Award Ceremony
The recipients of the MIT Clean Energy Prize will be announced in an Award Ceremony. There will be three Clean Energy categories: Energy Efficiency, Renewable Energy, and Deployment & Infrastructure. Of these three winners, one will be selected as the $200,00 grand prize winner.
